November 25- December 5, 2010: The One of A Kind Show
Admission fee: $6.50 - $10
Shopping? Head to this event and dig gifts ideas for Christmas! From furniture to arts stuff to toys and food! Did I mention SAAAALEEEEEE?
Where: Direct Energy Center, Exhibition Place ((Take the 509 Harbourfront streetcar from Union Subway Station or the 511 Bathurst Streetcar from Bathurst Subway Station)
November 26 - January 2, 2011: Downsview Park's Trail of Lights
Admission fee: Check this site.
This is one December event where you must see and enjoy your stroll with 400,000 LED lights illuminating the forest-like park. More than half of the displays are animated. There are theme parks and displays. Stroll the trail on walk through Wednesdays (no vehicles allowed).
Where: Downsview (Take the 101 Park Downsview Park bus from Downsview Station)
December 3-12, 2010: Christmas Market at the Distillery District
Admission: FREE
See, hear, sing, taste Christmas---the Christmas you know very well when you were a child! Walk in the Christmas village and meet Santa and his elves and carolers!

December 1, 2010: Voices of Hope for World AIDS Day (7:00-8:30 PM)
Admission Fee: Free (with a suggested donation of $20)
A concert for World AIDS Day to raise AIDS awareness internationally. A benefit for Casey House.
Where: Metropolitan United Church / 56 Queen Street East
December 4th, 2010: Lakeshore Santa Claus Parade
Admission: Free
Parade starts at 10:00 A.M. It begins at Dwight Avenue and heads west along Lakeshore, nearly to Browns Line.

December 4th, 11th & 18th, 2010: Christmas by Lamplight
Admission fee: Check the website.
Black Creek Pioneer Village is transformed into the world from Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
December 10-12, 2010 / 9:00 PM: Toronto Motorcycle Show
Admission fee: $16, $10

December 11, 2010: Daddy, Papa & Me – The Light Fantastic Party / 10:30 am-1:30 pm
Admission fee: Free
Family resource drop-in for all gay, bi, trans, queer dads/granddads/caregivers and their children up to age six.

December 21, 2010: Kensington Market Winter Solstice
Admission fee: Free
Formerly known as the Kensington Market Festival of Lights, this participatory lantern parade is preceded by lantern-making workshops for those who are interested.
